THERE'S A HOLE IN MY BUCKET..... AND A RAINBOW!

Hello there! It's good to see you again. It's been a glorious, early Spring day here in my small part of the world. The sun has shone, fluffy white clouds have scudded across the blue sky and it's been warm enough to sit outside during the middle part of the day. Spring has sprung.....

I took the photo of these crocuses in our front garden yesterday, after the rain had stopped. The yellow ones haven't shown up yet!

We took our regular 'Oscar walking' trip to the water park this morning..

Mr Snoopydog then spent the afternoon 'potting on' small tomato and chilli plants and Oscar spent the afternoon with his head in a 'bucket'; well, actuallly, it was a large plastic plant pot with three holes in the bottom, which he seemed to be fascinated by. There must have been something SO exciting in there that we knew nothing about. He is very comical!

Knitting has been fun this week. I've begun the little 'Rainbow' baby jacket that I mentioned last week. Here it is so far...

The jacket is made in two halves and sewn up down the centre of the back and under the arms.  Such a simple, but effective design. I love it!

I've made a start on the teddy too! I have to admit though, that Oscar's antics took over somewhat this afternoon.

He'll be done by next post..... with a little bit of luck!

It's going to be a busy week at school. The children in my class and the other Year 3 class have been doing a project about our city and this week, we mount our exhibition in the school hall, make refreshments, send out invitations and act as 'exhibition guides' and show people around the exhibition. Hopefully, the children will remember lots of historical information and useful facts about the important buildings and life in our city.

Here's a taster from last year's exhibition...

See you all next week and as always, thank you so much for stopping by! It's so lovely to see you. Have a great week!

I loved your post today - the colours in the knitting are fantastic. It'll be a very trendy baby!
Oscar is gorgeous - the photographs are just lovely - my Inca still has a thing about plant pots and will 'steal' one and run off with it!! Has Oscar started digging holes yet? Inca has a series of holes in our lawn ... it now resembles a golf course.

School looks fun this week. What a great idea! I teach Year Three as well so I know what hard work it will really be....good luck with your exhibition!

What a funny fellow your Oscar is. Our pets give us so much pleasure don't they?
Love the baby's jumper. Looks like it is quite a quick one to knit too.
It certainly seems that Spring is happening over there and being anxiously welcomed too. Let's hope the good weather continues.
Cheers
Helen

What a wonderful visit I've had.
Oscar of course is the icing on the cake but your rainbow knitted sweater is absolutely divine. I have a passion at the moment for the colour of chartreuse and that yarn is painted with it.
The teddy looks so soft and comforting.
Enjoy your week and all the great projects that are forthcoming.

I am loving the Oscar bucket head photo! Out little jack russel puppy did exactly the same thing the other day and wondered why he was banging into things :-)
