VISITING SOPHIE......

Hello there! Just a short post tonight, as we are away from home and not a great deal of knitting has happened this week, due to the exciting events of Monday, 24th May! I have brought my Sock Yarn Blankie out of hibernation though, and the plan this week is to get a few more squares completed. I've got a sock to complete as well, to make this one a happy pair.... I've just turned the heel on the second sock, so will finish it on the journey home tomorrow, hopefully.

We've had a really lovely weeekend and I've had lots of 'holds' and cuddles. It's always lovely to have all the family together and even more special now that we are welcoming a new little person. We've had some lovely walks with Scott and Oscar. In fact Oscar has now learnt to swim. Thanks Scott! You're a hero!

After a walk around the Water Park, we stopped off for coffee this morning, at a rather delightful little cupcake shop! Perfectly delicious!

We are off home tomorrow and then I am returning by myself for a more few days, later in the week.

Here she is, little Sophie Rose...

Such a sweet little girl!

Hope you've had a lovely weekend doing whatever you have been doing!

You are such a tease, lovely photos of cakes and dogs and knitting all of which are lovely and desirable but we are all longing to see that baby again. Such a gorgeous little bundle and so happy to hear that though you have to leave her its not for long. Have a wonderful and special week.

What a precious little angel...
I really like that sock yarn blanket, it so vibrant. Are you following a pattern or is it your own creativity?
Those two scamps look like they're having a riot!

What a lovely post ..... and how gorgeous is Sophie Rose. You must be bursting with joy!
Great to see Oscar can swim now .... Inca loves to swim .... it's her very favourite thing!!!
Whenever we go out for a long walk, we try to find somewhere for her to have a dip .... and then we have to bring a smelly, wet dog home in the car! Oh, the joy!
Love Kathy xxx
