'BOXLEAF'......FINISHED!

It's finished and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! Anne Hanson's 'Boxleaf Triangle' pattern is a triumph. I loved every minute of the making. The gorgeous 'Fleece Artist' Nyoni yarn was from my swap partner Cathy in Manhattan. It really is one of the prettiest and loveliest yarns to work with. The colours just cannot be captured on camera. Mind you, the weather today her in the UK has been pretty dull and miserable, which hasn't helped matters.Mr Sunshine saw no reason to brighten the sky, just because Snoopydog needed to take some yarny shots!

I just want to show you more and more pics......... so here goes.......first up is 'Boxleaf' blocking.

'Boxleaf' hanging.........

Finally...... 'Boxleaf' being worn by the younger Miss Snoopydog!

I 'frogged' my 'Pomatamus' socks this afternoon. They have sat unloved in a deep, dark bag for long enough now and my mojo has not returned. So, in order to make use of the ready wound Wollmeise, I have made a start on Anne Hanson's 'Pompa' scarf, instead. We'll see how we get on with this one. I think it may be the 'Lila Ludmilla' Wollmeise yarn that is jinxed though, as already I'm thinking' hmmm, not sure....'. Here it is after the first 20 row pattern repeat.

Thanks to the miserable, rainy weather this weekend, Snoopydog's time has been full of yarny productivity, as you can see. Now back to reality, as the working week fast approaches!!!!!!!!! Have a good one!

I want it, just the right size, gorgeous pattern, wonderful yarn, beautifully made. Send it to me now, if you enjoyed knitting it so much you can easily knit yourself another one.

The shawl is absolutely stunning...oh my how I'm getting the itch to cast on for some serious lace knitting! Still I shall behave and at least finish the cardigan I'm knitting first :)

Great work!

WOW!!! Your shawl is beautiful! Hope you're feeling suitably proud of it. Prise it off Miss SD, I think it looks too cosy around her shoulders!

I think the purple scarf looks lovely so far, but then I really liked the Potamus socks. Hope you have better luck with this project.

Oh, my, Ros... your Boxleaf is a triumph! It really is... it's wonderful! I am just thrilled to see it finished. I think you chose a terrific wool--that shade goes with anything/everything. It looks the perfect thing to have around the shoulders... great work! :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))
