GOD BLESS SHEEP and furry creatures!!

Thank you dear sheep and all woolly creatures that live upon this Earth. How amazing is it that we can use your delicious fibres without causing you any harm or distress. We can shear, dye, spin and knit to our heart's content knowing that you are safe. We can pass on to others and share your yarny loveliness in all it's many diverse ways. How special are you! Thanks for you woolly support, in enabling old Snoops to complete all of the lovely projects you can see here, during this last year.

In early January I finally managed to complete the gorgeous Aran coat for the younger Miss Snoops. She wears it frequently and it looks fabulous. As I cast my eye over the year's industrousness, I notice that many items were for little Sophie. They are always a delight to knit, being small and quick to gratify. More importantly they are for an amazing, totally special little person.

My spinning adventure began this year, although I have not made the expected or desired progress, due to time restrictions. However, the wheel is there and the fibre waits patiently!

This was my first completely independently spun skein which I then dyed. It may have many imperfections, but I love it!

As for 2012, well I just ask for a happy, healthy, contented and woolly year for myself and my family and friends.

    WISHING YOU ALL
A HAPPY, HEALTHY AND PEACEFUL NEW YEAR !

I'm looking forward to much more bloggy fun and friendship in 2012.
