DAFFODIL DAZE.............
Hello there! What a horrible, wet and miserable afternoon it is. In fact, the whole weekend has been wet and gloomy. It must be payback time for the gloriuos weather we experienced last weekend. Anyway, it's such a good job that it's daffodil time, because they are a sure guarantee of feel good factor. I just love them.
Mr Snoops pops up to out local farm shop most Saturday mornings to see what veggies are looking good to eat and at this time of year he always brings back two or bunces. Each week we seem to get a different variety. Last week the daffs were such a pale, delicate yellow.
This week they are so vibrant and uplifting..... perfectly beautiful! I love them!
The crocuses are popping too. I love these delicate purpley beauties with their bright orange stamens. Oh they do so brighten up a miserably gloomy day.
We have an enormous willow tree in the furthest corner of the garden, which acts as a haven and home to various birds and animals. It's just beginning to come into leaf, recalling calm and warming memories of the gentle swishing of it's long trailing fronds on warm, balmy summer days with gentle breezes. I can't wait!
The copper beech is also flowering and the forsythia is bursting forth. I do love the early Spring time garde, but I'd love it much, more if we could guarantee the warm rays of the sun.
I just need to hold in mind that all this beautiful growth is a sure sign that warmer days are on their way!!!
Have a good weeek.

Our flowering currant is just about to bloom too. I always remember the art lessons we used to teach drawing daffs and sprigs of flowering currant! Have a good week! xx
Yes I love daffodils too. I have three little pots of téte-a-téte behind my computer at the table now. They were half price in Marks-50p a pot!
We have had a mix of weather here this weekend-yesterday was not very nice but today has been ok, though pretty cold. Have a good week too!

Oh what beautiful pictures of Spring! Your garden looks like it is a lovely place to be at this time of year (weather permitting of course!) My OH bought me a couple of big bunches of daffs yesterday just because I love them so much. They have really brightened up my house.
GORGEOUS daffs, Ros... and really loved this ode to spring all in all... this is such a wonderful time, when the earth wakes from her winter sleep! Happy Days ((HUGS)) P.S. thank you for the sweet wishes at my place. :o)
Hi Ros! Thank you for those amazing, spring flower photos! Now the good weather has came here for a while! We have cut all the 'winter' grass from the garden and made some other garden works.
Have a great week! x Teje
