A SPRING IN MY STEP!

It's been such a beautiful weekend here in the east. Let's hope it continues for quite a while longer.

We took a morning stroll around the lake. What a difference a little bit of sunshine makes.

Oscar was asking for a swim!

I bet the water was chilly!

Oscar didn't seem to mind though. His ball was swiftly collected and returned .......

....... ready for the next throw.

Coffee and cake followed......... and a Bonio for Oscar!

The afternoon was spent knitting in the sun. I've just completed the back of Lear. Although the four row pattern repeat involves two rows of cabling, the pattern is easy to memorise and seems to work quite quickly. It produces a lovely thick, warm fabric.

Nothing like a few Spring flowers indoors, either, to keep that spring in your step!

Hi Ros! I'm so happy to hear that you had wonderful weekend and Oscar got his swim (first?)!
Your knitting pattern is beautiful! I wonder if you need 'helping' needle for the cable because they are only for one loop.
Have a great week and give a hug to Oscar! x Teje

Oscar's a very lucky boy. Inca hasn't managed a swim yet this year. We've had a little bit of brightness here, but it's still freezing.
I'm very jealous of the southern half of the country sitting out in their gardens!

I see there are still no leaves on the trees. They mustn't be far away now surely? At least it looks warmer.

These outdoor scenes and sun has been sooo refreshing, Ros...wow! It feels like spring has forgotten us here in the far north, and winter very much still with us yet...*sigh*... LOVELY knitting in progress--just love that heathery-colored wool. So sweet to see Oscar--his first swim this season?! Happy Days ((HUGS))

Daffodils are the ultimate in spring flowers, I think. They're even more 'springy' than tulips.
Happy happy Oscar!
