COULD DO BETTER.....

Okay, so 'could do better' is the story of the day this week. It's been busy, busy, busy. Yes, I know this is supposed to be a knitting blog, but reports and school 'stuff' have once again taken over. So, instead of woolly productivity, have a look at our pretty pots instead. They need a good reorganise , but let's just be pleased that are alive !

I LOVE summer prettiness! I'm not much of a gardener, but I do like a splash of colour. Mr Snoops busies himself endlessly with the veggie side of things. Me? Well, I'm just happy to eat what he grows!

The blanket is coming along, with just a few rows before bed each evening. I'm really liking the subtlety of the colours.

I did hope reports would be finished by the time I posted today, but the sun has been out and there has been lots of outdoor fun to be had. Now? Well Andy Murray is about to win Queen's! I need to give the last couple of games (hopefully) my full, undivided attention. Until next time.... happy days!

Hi Ros, That's a lovely blanket. Double moss stitch adds so much texture which little ones love.
Your flowers are a great morale booster here today. I'm grounded with 'something, not sure what' and even a little walk around my tiny garden didn't provide enough flower love.

Soon! soon! you'll have all summer break to walk, read and knit!

Got my reports finished today. Off on my trip this week, think of me!! Roll on next Friday evening! xx

Ahhh, reports! I don't have to do them anymore, thank goodness, because I don't have a class of my own now.
I don't miss it!
We're doing a major garden renovation at the moment, so I was chopping rampant ivy down all afternoon. Great fun!
I managed to see the end of the Murray game too. Let's hope he can do as well at Wimbledon.
Have a good week!

Your pots look great! Very colourful. And the blanket is coming along nicely too. Shame about the reports. I only finally finished mine yesterday and still have to add the tracking information. PPA tomorrow will hopefully see them off! Have a good week!

Hi Ros! Your beautiful blanket has picked colours from your flowers! Wish you could keep it on your garden chair. I'm same with gardening. I like to watch flowers and sometimes if I start to work in the garden I can't stop. But when I'm sewing or knitting I don't have time or thought for gardening. Have a lovely week! x Teje
Kisses to Oscar!

Your pots are gorgeous. The colours are so bright and cheery, and I really like the pink daisies. I have pots of pansies on my door step, and have been feeding them with tomato food. It's certainly been doing the trick, because they're flowering their socks off!
