HOOKED!

Here it is so far! I have to say, the colours are looking a little dark and the khaki green is looking brown, but nevertheless you get a flavour of the progress made. I must admit to be a teensy weensy bit addicted to rippling. The mantra has become.... just one more stripe, just one more stripe, just one more stripe! It's so satisfying watching the colour change from stripe to stripe and noticing how each change puts a whole different perspective on the blanket as a whole. I'm LOVING it!

Mr Snoops has worn his first pair of knitted socks this week and, believe it or believe it not, is a total convert. Now who would ever have thought it? Definitely not old Snoops! He has waxed lyrical about the comfort and declared the need for more! AS we were passing our local yarn store on Saturday morning I suggested we strike whilst the iron is hot and select the yarn for the next pair. No time to waste! He chose the above colourway, which I believe is one of this season's Opal offerings. This yarn is ideal for socks, as it contains polyamide for strength. Quite a good choice, don't you think?

I just loved this colour way too, and as I have quite a queue of ever hopeful family members waiting to offer some socks a forever home, I thought I'd drop in the basket too. Should keep me out of mischief!

The first pair of socks I ever made was for Mr Clicky. He left them in the drawer and never wore them, until one day I threatened to frog them. He wore them and hasn't looked back! I too, love a ripple and know one more row, very well!

Hi Ros! This blanket became Super beautiful! Fantastic beach colours! I love also the colours in your last photo! I'm crocheting with lots of colours - that kind of yarns where the colour change - fun. Have a lovely week! x Teje

Gorgeous blanket so far, I am looking forward to seeing it when it is finished. Good on Mr Snoops getting some socks, I still have to convince my husband.

The blanket is looking amazing, and I love both the sock yarns. Yey to Mr Snoops wanting more socks! Could he be convinced to learn to knit so he can make them himself?! ;)
