AND BREATHE!

Half-term has finally arrived and I have taken a massive deep breath! I've managed to get one pretty stripped sock off the needles this week and hopefully the other one will be finished on the long car journey to Manchester and back in a couple of days time. I'm loving the soft colours in this pretty Opal sock yarn.

On advice to be extra careful when washing the BareNaked Yarns Breakfast Blend 4ply, I've frogged the Helen Socks that I had begun and reverted to my original plan for this yarn, the 'Tidal Sands' infinity scarf by Anne Hanson. I've only just cast on, so not much to show at the moment. Hopefully this will be a quick knit for me to complete this week.

I'm breathing too! It's so funny we work from term to term and get worn out the last week. Have a lovely time away.

Congrats on making it to half term! I think no one appreciates breaks more than teachers do :)
