COSY......

In need of some woolly comfort and relaxation yesterday afternoon, I decided to wake this little beauty from his hibernation. So, so glad I did! Having been in 'sock, sock, sock sock' land since before Christmas, I had forgotten what simple pleasure such a kaleidoscope of colour can bring and how much it can lift the spirit! I managed an outdoor photo during the morning, whilst the sun was up  and just that step outside to my summer knit spot in the garden, amongst the plant pots and foliage, was enough to make it feel as if Spring is definitely not too far away.

After a spot of shopping for the younger Miss Snoops' birthday, in a couple of week's time (we are off to spend next weekend with her in London and will take her gifts with us), I headed home to a ready lit log fire and a much needed mug of tea. It really was pretty chilly!

Before I knew it, and with an unfashionable red left side of my face from sitting too close to the fire for a little too long, four new beautiful stripes had appeared. By the end of the evening nine! Oh the delight of those pretty little lines of colourful gorgeousness are enough to make my heart sing. Thank goodness I remembered to wake you!

What a cosy colourful post. I find the rugby on tv is a good excuse for settling down in the afternoon with a bit of knitting, no idea about the rules etc but its exciting and progress is made with the yarn. Have a good week and a lovely birthday weekend.

I need to dig mine out again. It's sat in a bag by the sofa so nice and handy. How many pattern repeats have you done now? Have a good week! xx

Looks gorgeus, Ros! I love your colourful crochet! I try not to crochet because it's not good for my wrists but when seeing your photos, I do want to pick my yarns and hooks again! Have a lovely Saunday! x Teje
Ps. We just enjoyed long lunch outside with dear friends. Weather is amazing!
