Just had to post this little gem found on the Syracruse Cultural Workers site . It made me think how self-absorbed I often am; quite happy when I am at home to just close the door and hibernate. We live in a rather lovely part of a pretty city, within ten minutes walk of the city centre and are lucky to have a peaceful and relatively friendly neighbourhood, but when I think about it, I don't really do a lot to move the community forwards. I feel rather guilty and am determined to do something about it!!!! Made me stop and think anyway.

BUILDING COMMUNITY
Stop and think..... how much do you do to foster community spirit and enterprise in your neighbourhood?
