THE NEW LOVE IN MY LIFE........

Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely day, whatever you are doing. I'm just sooooo happy!

It's crisp but sunny here, perfect weather for Valentine's Day. Spring is just around the corner and I'm loving these early indoor blooms. The hyacinth scent is really glorious.

Look who's here.......

He's arrived ......

There has been so much bustle, commotion, fun, laughter and love in the Snoopydog household since Friday at about 5pm. Much fussing and stroking and calling and cuddling and cooing and aahhhing has been going on. Lots of floor wiping and disinfecting and treat giving and praising.... and stroking and cuddling going on. You all know why. You don't? Then you have been to visit Snoopydog recently. If you had, you would have known that her world was about to be turned upside down by a little yellow furry bundle, called Oscar. His pedigree name is Misty Frosty Morning. He's a Solgate lab. His mum is Solgate Connie.

HE'S ARRIVED! He's absolutely adorable, just fourteen weeks old and such a character. He has been kenneled the breeder's until now and so has never been inside a house before. Hmmm! You know what that means. But, after a day and half, we are making headway and he is about 60 per cent successful at  'performing' in the garden rather than in the house. He has a very good appetite and has had two perfect nights, with no mess and no crying, save for a little bit of sadness for about five minutes after we had put him to bed on Friday night.

I just love him to bits. Do you want to see one or two more photos of him? Well, you may as well say 'yes!' because I don't have any new knitting or crocheting for you to see this week. It's been totally Oscar, Oscar, Oscar.

We were getting along quite nicely and Oscar (who is very snuggly and loves cuddles!) seemed to be settling in really well and then ...............Scott arrived...........

They are, in fact, half brothers. They have the same mother and their fathers are from the same line.

They are now the best of 'brothers'. Oscar follows 'big bro' everywhere. In fact Scott tip-toed back to bed earlier this evening, in the vain hope of a little peace and quiet. No chance!

Oh...... and who got my pretty little Valentine heart? Mr Snoopydog, of course! Mr Snoopydog doesn't really 'do' crocheted hearts and so ....... you guessed, it went to Oscar!! Pretty little yellow furry bundle. I love him!

I've been making slow progress on the little lilac cardi I began a week ago.  So far I'm really pleased with it and promise to show you some finished knitting or crochet next week.......... and a few more puppy pics. I know, things will calm down on the puppy front, I'm sure.

Have a good week and if you're on half-term holiday, like I am, then ENJOY!
