DAY IN THE GARDEN....

So much for knitting time today. I had planned on finishing off the little dusky pink, cabled cardigan for Jess, but things didn't go to plan. I had even managed to secure another ball of yarn from the same dye lot; annoyingly, I had found myself short earlier in the week!

Yesterday, we had taken a trip to a plant nursery not too far from home, that had been recommended by friends. To our delight, we found a family run nursery, brimming full with beautifully healthy plants and NOTHING ELSE: no coffee shop, gift shop or any other kind of money-making spin-off. HOORAY! The plants were also very reasonably priced. So................. guess how we spent the day today!

I'm pleased the pots are all sorted, as that saves us having to organise over the half-term holiday which is coming up next week. Yippee! Also the younger Miss Snoops is coming home for the weekend, fresh from her two-week holiday in Tokyo. So I'm looking forward to lots of tales of adventure and great photos. I'm also hoping on a visit to see Josiekitten. Methinks a lot of catching will be the order of the day!

Hope the week ahead is a good one!

Hi Ros! Oscar seems to have fun, too! Your gardening looks wonderful and I'm happy to hear you found a new nursery. I hope you have the best summer so that you all can enjoy as much as possible your garden. We had very hot weekend and couldn't do anything outside, just watering. Have a great week and give hugs to Oscar! x Teje

Very envious of your pots and plant purchases, it all looks very lovely and lots of fun to do. I can understand why knitting had to take a back seat, now time to sit back and admire your work, needles in hand. Have a good week.
