Josiekitten and I had a wonderful day in London yesterday, at the 'I Knit Fandango' in London. The sun shone bright and clear, the company was good and the yarn was truly scrumtious! I'll let the photos do the talking.
The Royal Agricultural Halls' Lindley Hall was filled with light through the beautiful glass panes in the roof. So much natural light flooding through that the hall was ablaze with colour! Wonderful!
So many great dyers displaying their wares that it was hard to choose essential purchases!
So much choice, including Wollmeise with Claudia's beautiful colours and the fabulous dyeing of the EasyKnits boys!
Here's my small, very restrained, haul.....
The first skein is 'ohemgee' from Easyknits, in colour way Tuti. Such pretty colours and perfect for socks. The next two 150g skeins are both Wollmeise Blend. These two are both destined to become scarves. Finally, the midnight blue skein with silver stellina is from Debonnaire. My first pair of socks with sparkles!
All in all, we had a brilliant day, with a lovely long walk there and back from Liverpool Street Station, along the Embankment and taking in the sights as we strolled.
Here are a few shots of our 'tourist' part of the day!
Big Ben's golden summit!
The London Eye
Westminster Abbey
Big Ben and London Bus!
St. Paul's
The Royal Exchange
Looking up in Old Broad Street!

Wasn't it fun yesterday?! Only 68 days and a few hours until Fibre East! Yay! Have a good week. xx
I love your posts filled with colour. I'm also very jealous of that bright blue sky in London. It's been grey and freezing here for weeks.
Half term soon? Enjoy!
Not long now till the summer hols xx
Looks like fun! I love the array of colours you get at shows like that. Have a good week!

Gorgeous photos, and gorgeous yarns too! I love the multicoloured one on the left.
I missed this post earlier, but am enthralled as always with both the marvelous fibers and the photos of London!
