LET'S GET THE JOB DONE.....

So, here we are at the end of the first week of the new term. Teaching staff have been in for four days and the children for two. Guess what! I'm snowed under with work. It's always the same at the beginning of a new academic year. During the holidays I spend several rainy days, when there is nothing better to do, preparing for the new term. Class lists were made, my new assessment folder organised, etc.etc.etc. After one day back the horrible feeling of 'oh my goodness how can I possibly get all this done' had returned. It will get done; it always does! Knitting and reading have to take a sideline though.

Fun knitting 'jobs' will also get done, as I get back into routines and plan for a little bit of 'me' time each evening. I have three portable projects on the go that I plan to complete before moving onto anything else. First up is the little cotton hooded card for Evie. It's getting oh so close to being finished: I just have the hood to complete and the borders to pick up and knit. Aiming for completion by next Sunday!

Then there are Mr Snoops socks that I began on our way up to North Yorkshire. He has asked a couple of times as to how they are doing!!! ;-) They're doing just fine! Sock number one has a heel and is almost ready for a toe!

Lastly, there are these little lovelies. These beats are for me, me, me! The yarn is gorgeous and the pattern and colour really rock. I'm loving the bag match too. A match made in Heaven ;-)

So, nothing too dull or insurmountable. The jobs will get done! I just need to make a little more of an effort to use my time smartly.

You are so ambitious! Two pairs of socks and a cardi. Yes, everything will get done...eventually.
